hmm...yeh isn't there any pub over there that sell belgian beers???

If not...then when you come to Europe, you can stop by Belgium and taste some beers there :D

When British ppl come to visit Belgium...they buy cigs and drink loads of beer (coz cig is cheaper here, and Beer is better...so they say...and I happily agree :D)

Yeah, I am but a poor college student. It's only sad if you're not there to get obnoxiously drunk with me in 10 years though.

Well, I also had flings with Hoegaarden and Chimay which have followed me back to the States where one can find those without too much difficulty.

The thing about good beer is that people try to get hammered off of it, and unless you're really used to drinking it, it's not a pleasant experience and yeah, it may be too flavorful and full of body.

If you want to drink beer all day long and just carry the buzz from it, maybe Bud is the way (though I think Corona or Sapporro are just as easy going down, and have the same effect).

If you're enjoying a big brat with onions and peppers, or a pizza, or a bowl of hearty stew, go for a "good" darker beer that compliments what you're eating.

So far I'm just proud that nobody here has said that they ADOOOORE Mike's Hard Lemonade or Smirnoff Ice.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that doesn't care for that stuff. I'll drink it once in a while, but definitely not my favorite.
