"When you've fought the undead and sailed with Davy Jones, what new adventures can be found "At World's End"? According to "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Orlando Bloom, the next installment of the blockbuster franchise will have a decidedly Asian influence. [<----Mao: WTF???]
"It gets bigger and better," he enthused. The flick picks up where "Dead Man's Chest" left off, with the crew of the Black Pearl sailing off the edge of the map to rescue Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp). "Chow Yun-Fat is in there, man, what more can I tell ya?" Bloom said of film number three. The legendary star of martial-arts films like "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," Yun-Fat is known for holding twin guns during action scenes. Does this mean that in "Pirates" he'll hold two swords? "Oh he does, I believe," Bloom said. "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" is currently filming for a May release. .."
What makes more interesting news however, (if that is even possible) is that Yun Fat will be in an even more interesting film project after that.
Fat will be playing the character of Liu Bei in John Woo's adaptation of The Battle of Red Cliff, which is based from China's greatest adventure lore, the Romance of the 3 Kingdoms.
