I'm confused. Is it Dan Brown or Chuck Palahniuk who is the popular author to rag on du jour?

I'm just saying.

That it means he's a bad author.
That's about as shocking as JSD admitting he likes his own poo.

I'm referring to Palahiuk being a bad author. Anything I've read of his is LESS riveting than a Dan Brown novel.

I actually liked his books, they were like a candy you'd never had before so you eat a lot of it in a short amount of time but then later on it makes your stomach hurt and you're disinclined to every eat any more of it.

I read Choke, Survivor, Lullaby, Invisible Monsters and Fight Club in less than five days, and then hit a wall in the middle of Diary and couldn't stand to pick it up again for three months until I forced myself to finish for the sake of completeness. I liked them all (except Diary), but they all tasted the same.

Dan Brown is always the author to pick on. What a predictable hack.

I've read all his books.

Me too. I've only read two, though.
