This may be old news to some, but I thought I'd update this thread with the happy news that not only is Terminator: SCC returning for its second season this fall, but they're bringing Garbage's lead singer Shirley Manson to the cast to play "Catherine Weaver, the CEO of a cutting-edge high-tech company."

Will this company be Cyberdyne? We'll have to wait until September 8 to find out. Also, Season 1 is set for DVD release on August 19.

This happened in it:

Funny how I remember Summer Glau in knee length tube-socks, crop tops and tight little skirts but not a lot else.
I think there was something about a bad terminator chasing after the connor family and something about jumping forward in time to the past and i vaguely remember something about some fbi dude chasing after them and realising that its all true near the end and some mention about the connor bird's ex getting involved but not a lot else. Oh did I mention Summer Glau in knee length tube-socks?

Just to let everyone know, Fox is airing all of last season, every night for the next few days. According to my Tivo, the following episodes will be airing at 9:00 every night as follows:

Episode 1 aired Sunday
Episode 2 aired Monday (yesterday)
Ep 3 - 8/12 9:00 (tonight)
Ep 4 - 8/13 9:00
Ep 5 - 8/17 9:00
Ep 6 - 8/18 9:00
Ep 7 - 8/19 9:00
Ep 8 - 8/20 9:00
Ep 9 - 8/24 9:00

There were only 9 episodes total for season 1. Might be good to set your DVRs, in case you missed anything from the first season.

Excellent. The power went out for the first 20 minutes, so I haven't had the chance to watch it (though Fox' online viewer rocks, especially when compared to ABC's online Jericho episodes). I'll take your review under advisement, though.

Just in case anyone missed the news, FOX picked up T:SCC for the full season.

Yay! ^_^

I was kinda surprised to hear that news, since it was pretty much sucking. Thankfully, the last episode seems to be getting back to being exciting and not focusing on terminators malfunctioning nor protecting somebody that we don't care about that is important sometime in the future.

Okay so I'm catching up on my Sarah Connor and I'm like wtf  Cameron nursing a turtle? hawt though.
Summer Glau gets hotter every day! Putting her bare foot out the window to feel the air makes me realise I have a foot fetish either that or I just have a Summer Glau skin fetish.

But okay - the series in general just keeps getting better and better with each episode. The storylines are a lot thicker what with what-her-face coming back from the future to escape the war for a few years, cameron malfunctioning at random times so you never really know if shes meant to be doing what shes doing or shes just pain fucked in the head. The ex-cop and the liquid metal sub-plot and now this shrink - probably obvious but I think his name was put on the wall to tell the connors that this guy needs protecting as they probably let him in on what is happening using cameron as evidence and he helps the connors come to terms with the mental side of things - this is probably why skynet sent a terminator to take him out. But then on the flip side he has had a run in with liquid so...
All in all its getting pretty good - lets see how it copes with the new terminator movie.

I will admit Terminator: Sarah's boring chronicles has become better in the last few episodes. Although they have toned down the emo John, I'm still not necessarily sold on the Agent Ellis story-line; yet.

Many people who follow such things insist that tonight's episode wasn't just the season finale, but the SERIES finale.

If so, is there anyone who is satisfied with the way they ended things?
