Surprised this hasnt made front page yet but guess not that many HK fans on this site. Edison Chen was in Infernal Affairs 1 & 2 which was subsequently remade by Martin Scorsese into The Departed.

He also stars in the Grudge 2 and possibly The Dark Knight and will be in the upcoming Hayden Christensen movie Jumper.

But here he costars with some of the squeakiest clean Hong Kong popstars/actresses who have their images shattered quicker than a leaked Paris Hilton anal x tape. They include Cecelia Cheung and Gillian "Twins" Chung and Bobo Chan. But the one I am waiting for is a rumoured appearance of Maggie Q. The story is that Edison took his comp for repairs at a shop in Central district and someone there copied all the pics. But that actually occurred a while back and I guess the culprit never got around to sending the pics out until now.

There's been a trickle of pics over the past while, but the cops are trying to find the source and arrested a whole bunch of people already, though it seems that they're all either intermediates or the source has already distributed the whole set to others as a backup. I wish the guy would just dump all the files at once and get it over with, 'cuz I'm getting sick of waiting and if the cops get to him first then we'll never see the rest.

I'd actually say Cecilia looks the worst coming out from the pics, because Gill and BoBo just look like average hairy HKers having fun, but she always looks totally fucked up on booze and pills or something in her pics. Wow - this scandal keeps on going - it just gets more and more surreal. Theres been rumours then confirmation of weddings being cancelled (Bobo Chan), marriages on the rock (Cecelia and Nic Tse) but the best - Triads putting a hit on Edison's head - which leads to the most relevant quote to dontlinkthis

All this leads me to believe Hong Kong is backwards. Triads putting a hit out on a guy because of sex pictures? I could understand if some guy forced them to watch 2Girls1Cup, but an uproar over blowjobs? The only outcry that should be going on is one to make waxing kits, razors or, in this case, weed whackers more easily accessible for women.

The (rumours of) triad hits are not because there are naughty pics per se. It's because they're naughty pics of HK celebrities that built their reputation on squeaky-cleanliness who are managed by a firm with a boss with many Triad connections.

Put it this way: imagine if the Vanessa Hudgens pics were released and DIsney was run by Tony Soprano. I think whoever that took those pics have good reason then to fear for his life.

But no, you're right in another sense, though. HK is fucked up. All the police arrests for distribution of lewd material have made people rhetorically question why Edison shouldn't be the one getting charged. Apparently it's morally superior to traffic stolen property than it is to take a few naughty pics with your significant other. WTF.
